Academic–Industry Roundtable

It was a great pleasure to have organized a high-level Academic–Industry Roundtable on “CSR-Driven Academic–Industry Partnerships for Research, Innovation and Institutional Growth,” which was successfully hosted at Amity University, Gurugram on 10 April 2026 between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. As Indian higher education entered a decisive phase of transformation, the roundtable emphasized the growing need for structured, strategic, and outcome-oriented collaboration between academia and industry. This closed-door leadership dialogue brought together Vice Chancellors, research leaders, and industry stakeholders, who engaged in meaningful deliberations on sustainable CSR-aligned partnership models aimed at strengthening research ecosystems, enhancing innovation capacity, and improving institutional competitiveness. The discussion further focused on enabling research infrastructure, establishing centres of excellence, fostering incubation ecosystems, promoting skill development initiatives, and creating measurable societal impact in alignment with NEP 2020 and national priorities.
